My Bio
I love all things artsy. I write quite a bit- hoping to get published one day actually- and I absolutely love to read as well. English literature is probably, along with visual arts, my favorite subject. I'm in love with music- I play acoustic guitar and a little bit of piano. I have been known to sing- as soon as I'm sure the premises are clear of all human life. Well, that's not entirely true because I do perform in public a bit. Lastly I, of course, love art--in school, I did mostly paintings ( mostly acrylic and watercolor). The medium that I've been getting into lately is mixed media collages- I love it because there are so many experimental techniques and textures that you can work with. I'll probably upload some of my traditional stuff into the dA gallery at some point. However, most of my digital work is up there. I've been doing a lot of photography lately- but I started off doing photomanips and digital painting. I'm hoping to get back into the latter when I get some free time- which has been in short suppy as of late. Oh and I absolutely love to travel. My favorite city in the world is London- and I hope to live there someday. Well, there you go dA- you asked for it- that's me in a nutshell. Now you know me. Well, not really. :D Check out my gallery and let me know what you think!

Well, obviously I couldn't come up with a more creative title- mostly because I'm half asleep. The thing that I absolutely hate about right now is how stuck I feel. I'm grounded to this one spot, my feet melting into this space in my life...when you're almost completely done something- there is just that last tiny stretch to go- and your motivation to finish well completely disappears. That's about how I feel right now. Oh dear. On the bright side, I had a lesson with my favorite guitar teacher today! Mr. G, if you by some gigantic magical coincidence happen to read this, I want you to know that you inspire me! I probably won't see you ag

It has been a year-ish since my last entry...And I really shouldn't be on dA right now either, seeing as I have a gigantic Chem exam in a few days. My only consolation is that this will be last Chem exam ever (or at least I hope so!). I just can't seem to focus on Hess' Law and all that wonderful stuff at the moment. I can't wait until the summer! I'm definitely planning to take as many pictures as possible. I'm thinking of maybe trying out some conceptual photographs. I usually just photograph whatever is at hand- architecture, nature, food etc. I want to try and approach photography like I would a painting, with a concept and a plan

So I finally got a deviantart account. I was lets say inspired by my thirty day free trial of Adobe CS4...Why are these products sooo expensive? Anyways, the trial is over, and I've started saving so i can get the full version. Digital Art is so cool. I started with photomanipulation and that was so much fun, and then I tried ( and failed quite impressively) at digital painting. I suppose that everybody had to start somewhere right? I mean I can only get better...I think. I'll probably post those first paintings up at some point. Its a little strange to be working on art on the computer. I mean i've only been doing it for a little over a mont
